The thesis in question is committed to the topical problem of the modern pedagogical theory and practice - upbringing of moral qualities in children of the junior school age by means of nature in a family in Great Britain. The country taken for research has great achievements and steady traditions of family upbringing and fostering in a growing generation ethic and moral qualities which are checked up by life itself and which are built on the best national and common to humanity values. On the basis of analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature, state materials and documents devoted to children protection, strengthening of the role of family and parents' responsibility for upbringing of the younger generation and increasing of their psychological culture have been done. The analysis of primary school curricular in which different aspects of upbringing are reflected have been done too. General characteristic of upbringing of moral qualities in children of the investigated age category in a modern British family have been carried out. The significance of nature in developing in children of the junior school age moral qualities is shown here. The priorities and effective technologies of upbringing of moral qualities in children of junior school age in the British family have been distinguished. In the thesis a profound analysis of psychological and physiological peculiarities of children of junior school age have been provided. It gave a good opportunity to disclose and characterize objectively traditions of upbringing in the British family and to determine directions in the field of cooperation of parents and educationalists in fostering moral qualities in children of junior school age by means of nature. It is disclosed and recommended to use the most perspective upbringing technologies in fostering ethic and moral qualities in children of junior school age which are recognized in Great Britain as effective to the same upbringing activity in Ukrainian families.
