Object of research: process of maintenance of effective employment of the population in economy of region. The purpose of research: removal of the contradictions between an existing and effective occupation level by theoretical generalization, analysis of practice and methodical maintenance of the offers on attraction of the population in real sector of economy. Methods of research: dialectic, comparison, generalizations, balance, statistical, analytical tables, graphic, factoring the analysis, synthesis, system approach. Theoretical and practical results: are profound, have found the further development and the scientific-theoretical rules directed on maintenance to effective employment in economy of region in modern conditions are advanced. The theoretical conclusions are lead up to a level of the concrete recommendations and give an opportunity of maintenance of effective employment of the population in economy of region, are used by Management of education and science Donetsk Regional state administration, Donetsk regional centre of employment, private enterprise "Buildservice", Donetsk professional building Liceum Ministry of education and sciences of Ukraine and Yasinovatckay by professional Liceum of a railway transportation Ministry of education and sciences of Ukraine, and also in educational process in Donetsk state university of management Ministry of education and sciences of Ukraine. The scientific novelty consists in development of a complex of the scientific-methodical and practical recommendations on maintenance of effective employment of the population in economy of region for removal of the contradictions in the regional market of work. Priorities of maintenance of effective employment of the population in region for the first time are determined. Are advanced: Receptions of the analysis of employment of the population in region, approach to definition of the reasons of unemployment and revealing of reserves of increase of employment of the population in region. Have received the further development: definition of concept "effective employment", grouping of the factors of maintenance of effective employment of the population in region, approach to maintenance of equation of a supply and demand in the regional market of work, rule on amplification regional politics of employment of the population. Sphere of use is the activity of managements on education and science regional state administration, regional and urban state services of employment, regional centres of employment of youth, bodies of local self-management, chiefs of professional educational institutions and enterprises; research establishments on a structure of scientific work; higher educational institutions at teaching a line of disciplines.
