Essay

This thesis is devoted to the research of one of the acute problems of modern theory and practice of education - artistic and aesthetic education of the student youth in the unified pedagogical process of the university. The problem is covered in the discourse of the transformation, globalization and informatization of the contemporary society. The reasons for the "inflation" of artistic and aesthetic values of the student youth, the character of the changes in the priorities of value orientation of the contemporary youth, the influence of post-culture on the artistic and aesthetic consciousness of the student youth have been determined by studying the contemporary pedagogical experience and the state of artistic and aesthetic education in higher educational establishments. On the basis of comprehensive analysis of scientific literature the essential feature of artistic and aesthetic education of the student youth has been revealed, the theoretical generalization and a new solution of the problem of artistic and aesthetic education of the student youth in the unified pedagogical process of the university has been presented. The artistic and aesthetic potential of the unified pedagogical process, its peculiarities and the ways of practical application have been shown. Methodological instruments of the research, criteria, rates and levels of artistic and aesthetic education of the student youth have been introduced in the thesis, methodological system of artistic and aesthetic education, its main functional principles, its meaningful filling and pedagogical techniques of its realization have been developed. The model of the methodological system directed at the formation of aesthetic consciousness, the system of artistic and aesthetic knowledge, aesthetic feelings, tastes and ideals, the development of the creative potential of the student use in different activities have been scientifically grounded and experimentally tested. The results of the forming experiment have proved the effectiveness of the methodological system for the obtaining high results in artistic and aesthetic education of the student youth. The main regulations and recommendations have been introduced into the educational process of technical and humanitarian specialties of the university.
