Essay

The object is the process of mastering educational-professional information by the future specialists of engineer-pedagogical specialities at the study of foreign language; purpose is on the basis of system approach to define the specific features of cognitive mechanisms of the process of mastering foreign texts, explore terms and factors of efficiency of linguistic training future specialist of engineer-pedagogical type; methods are the analysis of scientific literature, generalization; questionnaire, testing with the use of personalities tests; methods of mathematical statistics; novelty - system approach is first carried out to the problem of mastering contents of foreign texts by the students of engineer-pedagogical specialities; notion of structure and functions of cognitive processes were developed which provide efficient mastering foreign language; the notion of psychological mechanisms of mastering educational information is extended in the process of working with foreign texts; the results are methodological and methods approaches are developed to the study of mnemical and mental features of personality as professionally important features at mastering foreign language; adequate means of organization of process of mastering foreign texts are developed; the results of dissertation are introduced in the training process in the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy, in the Berdyansk State Pedagogical College, the Kharkov National Automobile and Highway University, the Kharkov National Pedagogical University named after G.S. Scovoroda, the Kharkov National University named after V.N. Karazin.
