The thesis examined the actual and not enough elaborated by pedagogical science and educational practice the problem of upbringing speech etiquette in primary school children in a family. Basing on the analysis of scientific sources highlighted the main aspects of speech etiquette; cleared up the peculiarities of content and structure of the concept of "speech etiquette primary school children", substantiated the role of family in the upbringing of the investigated phenomena in the younger pupils. Elaborated the criterion, components and indices of speech etiquette levels in primary school children, studied the current practice of training its pupils in the 1-4 forms in family and school. Defined and experimentally verified the effectiveness and appropriateness of theoretically grounded pedagogical methods and conditions under which the family can optimize the process of speech etiquette education in children. Proposed and tested the system of optimization training speech etiquette in primary school children in the family.
