Essay

The manuscript is devoted to the problem of formation of student gender breeding in the process of a would-be teacher professional training. The peculiarities of gender education with regard for a sex-role component lay down specific conditions for the formation of a would-be teacher's personal culture. In this work the essence of gender education of students is conveyed through systematic, active and role approaches. Proceeding from general objections of gender education its directions are defined concretely: sex-role education that helps develop masculinity and femininity and determine optimum communicative strategies of men and women; sexual education that directs to optimize the formation of sexual-erotic orientations and moral requirements; preparation for the responsible life in marriage; design of optimum reproductive strategies; development of healthy way of life. The content of concepts "gender education" and "gender breeding" have been defined. The system of pedagogical conditions of gender education has been set up. The levels of student gender breeding have been grounded on a theoretical basis. The model of student gender education has been developed and tested experimentally.
