The dissertation considers the problem of tolerance education of future history teachers in the process of social and humanitarian subjects studying. On the basis of a theoretical study the problem essence and structure of teaching tolerance as a phenomenon, the approaches, principles and levels of tolerance are cleared up. The role and possibilities of social and humanitarian subjects in tolerance education of future history teachers are considered. Pedagogical conditions that promote future history teachers' tolerance are determined and scientifically grounded. The model of tolerance education of future history teachers is worked out, and also the technological scheme of tolerance education providing of future history teachers in the process of social and humanitarian subjects studying is determined.
