Essay

In the dissertation on the basis of the analysis of literature on philosophy, psychology and education it was found out the nature and the structure of the students' attitude to the environment. Consumerist -motivated attitude, informative and practical components were defined. According to defined criteria and indicators a responsible attitude of the 5th - 9th year students of rural schools to the environment were defined four levels - (high - responsible type; sufficient - careful type, positively interested in the environment; middle - pragmatically interested type; low - indifferent type). The levels of the responsible attitude to the environment are hierarchically organized, each of them is essential to the next.
