Object of research: the development process of labor potential of the region. Objective: To study theoretical and methodological basis and development of practical recommendations for the development of labor potential in during the modernization social and labor relations. Methods: The scientific abstraction, system, cause and effect relationships, statistical, economic and mathematical modeling, survey (questionnaire), graphics. Novelty: first proposed strategy for the modernization of social and labor relations, aimed at balancing the interests of employers and employees to improve the level and quality of life, economic growth and on this basis of innovative development of labor potential. Scope: in the activities of the Main Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Ternopil Regional State Administration, Ternopil Regional Council of Trade Unions, in the educational process Ternopil National Economic University.
