Essay

The thesis deals with the actual and not developed problem of bringing up the quality of tolerance in primary school children in conditions of multicultural educational space. Basing on the analysis of scientific sources there are highlighted the main aspects of tolerance, cleared up the peculiarities of content and structure of the concept of "tolerance of primary school children", elaborated the criteria, components and indices of tolerance levels in primary school children, studied the current practice of training its pupils at school. Defined and experimentally verified the effectiveness and appropriateness of theoretically grounded pedagogical methods and conditions under which there can be formed the tolerance of primary school children. The pedagogical model of optimization of the process of bringing up the tolerance in primary school children in conditions of multicultural educational space is developed. It was introduced through the program of extracurricular activities "From culture of communication to culture of tolerance". The effectiveness of it is proved by the data of statistic analysis.
