The objective is the process of forming readiness of students from the engineer-pedagogical educational institution for the physical self-education; the aim is to define the influence of the implementation of organizationally pedagogical conditions on the generation of readiness of students from the engineer-pedagogical educational institution for the physical self-education; methods are theoretical, empirical and statistical; the importance of this paper lies in the theoretically proved and experimentally tested organizationally pedagogical conditions of forming readiness of students from the engineer-pedagogical educational institution for the physical self-education; the "person's physical self-education" notion along with the student's readiness for the physical self-education structure was specified; the forms of educational work upon the future specialists' readiness for the physical self-education in the conditions of the higher engineer-pedagogical educational establishment got their further development; the results of the research can be used by the lecturers for the improvement of the school-educative process, for the system of the after-graduate education, for writing manuals, summaries, undergraduate and degree theses by students; the field is the pedagogy
