It has been carried out the theoretical analysis of the problem of formation of social responsibility of students of the pedagogical college, it has been justified and implemented in practice of the professional training of future teachers of primary school conditions of the formation of social responsibility of students of the pedagogical college (the formation of the social responsibility of students through the use of educational potential of disciplines; orientation of the pedagogical practice in shaping of habits of socially responsible behavior; the formation of social responsibility means of extracurricular educational activity as one of the important components of education of students of the pedagogical college); it has been formulated recommendations for optimizing of the process of social responsibility as an important professional features of a modern primary school teacher.
