Object: formation and development of the autonomy of the children of the third year of life in the children's home; aim: theoretical substantiation and experimental verification of psycho-pedagogical conditions of upbringing of independence of the children of the third year of life in the children's home; methods: analysis, synthesis, observation, interview, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: for the first time theoretically substantiated and experimentally confirmed psychological and pedagogical conditions of education of the independence of early age children deprived of parental care; defined criteria, indicators and levels of the formation of the autonomy of the children of the third year of life in the house of the child; further the development of scientific views on the content, methods and stages of the educational work with children of early age in the conditions of the orphanage; the results: developed this is the diagnostic assessment of the manifestations autonomy; the branch 13.00.07  theory and methods of education
