Essay

The dissertation deals with the theoretical methodological summary of moral education in modern French schools. The definitions of the concepts of "moral values" and "the system of moral education" are given in the research paper. The content and the main trends of the development of the system of moral education have been characterized in the work. The author gives the characteristic of pedagogical conditions of the system of moral education in educational establishments in France. The innovative ways and methods of moral education have been described. The systematization of the data received in the research has been given in the paper. Hence, the methodological recommendations for the development of modern Ukrainian system of school education have been worked out. The author singles out the following components of the system of moral education in French pedagogy: the normative legal basis; the content of the system; the individual and group component; the functional component; the diagnosis and result component. The author proves the necessity of using humanitarian and aesthetic courses in the process of moral education at school. The research paper also deals with the problem of molding value orientations in present conditions. The results of the recent pedagogical research and publications are analyzed in the work.
