The problems of preparation of student youth to family life, based on moral and spiritual values, are being researched. The scientists' views of different periods on the peculiarities of family upbringing of youth, the formation of qualities, necessary for the creation of happy and spiritually healthy family, are being stated. The structural components of moral and spiritual basis of preparation of student youth to family life have been represented; the description of these components has been given, and their interconnection is being researched. The factors, which influence the process of preparation of youth to family life, are stated in the research. They include: socio-cultural and economic conditions in the country, the activity of social organizations, directed on the psychological and social support of a family, family education; mass media and art as a source of ideal examples of family life; understanding the importance of family as moral and spiritual value of human life; the level of development of moral and spiritual qualities of students (the feeling of love, responsibility, tolerance etc.); the informational culture of students and the culture of using cyberspace; the educational activity of the institution of a higher learning, directed on the preparation of student youth to family life. The criteria (value, motivational-orientational, cognitive, behavioral), levels and indicators of readiness of university students to family life on moral and spiritual basis, have been devised on the basis of stated structural components of moral and spiritual basis of preparation of student youth to family life. For the purpose of rise of level of preparation of university students to family life, organizational and methodological system has been implemented into an educational and teaching process of an institution of a higher learning: at the meetings of a "Young family club", at the pedagogical subjects, the meetings of a group with its supervising teacher, during the organization of leisure hours of youth. The organizational and methodological system included all structural components of moral and spiritual basis of preparation of student youth to family life. The content of every meeting of "Young family club" was made with an aim of accumulation of life experience by youth, the formation of value treatment of marriage, family, the birth of children, value treatment of person's health and the health of all family.
