Research object - the process of labour productivity growth under the current conditions. The purpose of dissertation is devoted to the profound theoretical and methodological labour productivity growth foundations through social and economic leverages, with the help of scientific and practical guidance development as for detected leverage of labour productivity growth application in the current economic conditions. Methods of research. The theoretical and methodological basis of the work is fundamental provisions of modern economic theory, labour native and foreign scientists on problems of labour productivity, socio-economic motivation for efficient work. There are used the following methods: dialectical, deduction, induction, analysis, synthesis, historical and logical; classification and analytical; economic and statistical and graphic-analytical analysis; correlation and regression analysis; of statistical groupings; sociological; analysis and synthesis; economic and mathematical modelling in the research process. There were improved classification factors, leverages and reserves of increase of labour productivity by separation of priority leverage of influence on social-economic, organizational-institutional and industrial-innovative content, and scientific-methodical approach to determining factors and leverages of social and economic content that form the priorities value orientations motives and labour activity in the research. There were further developed: terminological apparatus research and evaluation of trends in the labour productivity and effectiveness of measures to control labour productivity at meso- and micro levels, scientific-practical recommendations to improve labour productivity based on prognosis changes of influential factors, the conceptual provisions on strategic management of labour productivity in a stage of transformation social-labour relations, directions of improvement of socio-economic leverages improve labour productivity in the research. Conclusions and suggestions for motives labour activity, development of incentives, which are derived from the research were used by the Department of Economics of the Chernivtsi City Council during formulate strategies of economic development of Chernivtsi. Suggestions for improving the socio-economic leverages of labour productivity growth have been introduced into the activities of Chernivtsi commercial and industrial chamber in support of the interests of national producers. Proposals for the efficient use of human capital was used the Main Department of Economics Chernivtsi Regional State Administration in the development of socio-economic development of the region for 2012.
