Object of research: the process of securing employment performance; Objective: To improve research and teaching positions and develop practical recommendations for the performance of employment through regulation of professional and educational trajectories of young people; methods and apparatus: theoretical generalization, comparison, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, structural and logical analysis, systems analysis, monographic method, statistical analysis method multynomialnoyi logistic regression method of sociological research, graphic; Theoretical and practical results: proposed scientific and methodological bases of identification of typical modern vocational educational trajectories of young people in the labor market by building multynomialnoyi logistic regression model of the process variable distribution contingents of young people in the areas of professional formation; integrated model providing employment performance that brings together two interrelated components: 1) a mechanism to ensure the performance of employment, 2) the mechanism of regulation of professional and educational trajectories of young people; categorical apparatus of investigation through clarification of content notions of "productive employment", "vocational educational trajectory"; theoretical and methodological approach to the study of problems of productive employment, a feature which is: the systematization of economic interests related entities in employment, grouping the factors influencing the performance providing employment, separation methods, goals and instruments of regulation, the definition of performance indicators of employment; periodization of the process of professional formation of young people, which is the difference in the allocation of five stages; organizational and economic state regulation of career-oriented activity that is different from the existing grouping of lines specified activities; scientific and methodical approach to determining the factors motivating young professional choices and study their relationship with the professional and educational paths that, unlike existing ones, based on a sociological survey of young professional advantages, motives and factors of professional self; degree uprovazhdennya: design implemented in practice the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction of Ukraine, Institute of Industrial Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Central Statistical Office in Donetsk region, Donetsk Oblast Council of Trade Unions, the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, Department of Labour and Social Affairs of the Donetsk City Council JSC “Donetskstal - Steel Works”, in the classroom Donetsk National University; Scope: providing productive employment
