The dissertation is devoted to issues related to the scientific and theoretical principles and justification of methodological recommendations for evaluating the use of labor potential of the company. Socio-economic nature of the labor potential is specified by implementing the feature "degree of use", which propose to consider the "possible potential" and "actually realized" labor potential that forms the basis for the formation of evaluating the use of labor potential. We propose to understand rational use of labor potential with its compliance with labor activity. The influence of factors on process of using labor potential is assessed. It was researched that the most significant are motivation, conditions, organization of work and the professional level of employees. The procedure of evaluation of use of the labor potential is improved. Quantitative and qualitative evaluation is proposed. Quantitative evaluation is based on the calculation of the integral index, which is a measure of aggregate indices of labor productivity, innovations, education, official experience, efficiency of performing tasks. Qualitative assessment involves determining the importance and relevance criteria of the following components of the employment potential as labor quality, organizational skills, qualifying potential, psychological cooperation, social responsibility. The data of quantitative and qualitative assessment provide the information base to develop measures to increase labor activity of workers. To ensure the efficient use of labor potential of the company we propose the evaluation model of social responsibility of partners of employment that determines the social role of employers and employees in the enterprise that will improve the social policy of the company.
