Object - medical college educational process; the aim - to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested technology on the quality of personality's discipline development in medical college students in the educational process; methods - theoretical, empirical, of mathematical statistics; novelty - the research is the first to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the technology of discipline development in medical college students, the stages of which provide for its efficiency; the definition of the term "discipline development " is given, according to which this notion means an integrated personal quality including a number of other features and is revealed in the ability to individually plan one's own actions and control the results, create the conditions for the achievement of goals set, independently and in the adequate manner carry out tasks set, understand the position of others and impartially assess one's own activities; the criteria and indices of the level of discipline development in medical college students have been specified; forms and methods of discipline development in medical college students have acquired further investigation; results - the theoretically substantiated pedagogical technology of discipline development in medical college students has undergone experimental testing and may be recommended for the implementation in present-day medical colleges of secondary education. Theoretical ideas and practical data will be helpful for planning class and out of class activities involving medical college students aimed at raising the quality of their professional training. The materials of the dissertation will be helpful for academics working at the development of curriculum and at compiling teaching manuals, they will be useful to those who are engaged in the system of professional development and to students writing course, diploma and Master degree papers; field - pedagogy.
