Object - the process of moral education of junior adolescents in the process of extracurricular activities at secondary school; the aim - to find out the influence of implementing the scientifically substantiated technology of moral orientation forming in junior adolescents in the process of extracurricular activities on the moral education of the given stratum of schoolchildren; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the dissertation is the first to substantiate and experimentally test the personality-oriented technology of moral orientation forming in junior adolescents in the process of their extracurricular activities at secondary school; the definition of the term "moral orientation" of junior adolescents has been specified as an integral personality quality accumulating varying in value content moral needs, motives, interests, ideals, facilitating social and personal welfare, promoting the system of humane attitude to reality, other people, to the person himself, that defines one's moral behavior, the content of the structural components of adolescents' moral orientation; the forms and methods of junior adolescents' extracurricular activities organization directed at their moral orientation forming and modes of pedagogical support allowing for the achievement of working results in the given sphere of education have undergone further research; results - the scientifically substantiated technology of moral orientation forming in junior adolescents in the process of extracurricular activities has been experimentally tested, its efficiency has been proved, the technology is recommended for the implementation in the present day school practice. Theoretical ideas and practical data of the research, the methodological recommendations based on the given data will be helpful to school teachers, those working in the system of teachers' professional development, to lecturers of higher education institutions in teaching "Pedagogy", "Basics of Art of Teaching", to students working at course, diploma and Master degree papers as well as to scholars and methodology experts working at writing textbooks and teaching manuals; field - pedagogy.
