Essay

It is a theoretical and experimental research for the problem of the professional self-improvement for the head of the extracurricular educational institution (children's sport school). Based on the analysis of the theoretical methodological principles of the professional self-improvement nature for the head of the extracurricular educational institution levels were defined and the set of organizational and pedagogical conditions of the professional self-improvement for the head of the extracurricular educational institution were substantiated. The methodical center for such self-improvement was developed and implemented. The program of the implementation of this process was introduced. It was discovered, that the creation of the optimal organizational and pedagogical conditions on all the levels (state, municipal, intra-school and private) can be considered as a mean of individual self-improvement for the head of the extracurricular educational institution. The management model of the professional self-improvement for the head of the extracurricular educational institution was proposed, theoretically supported, experimentally confirmed and tested. The model consists of the following 4 blocks: methodological, content, functional and practical. The method of the experiment was described, results of the research were analyzed, and methodical recommendations regarding the implementation of the management of professional self-improvement model for the head of the extracurricular educational institution were proposed. The program of professional self-improvement was presented, the efficiency of which has been demonstrated in the course of the experiment.
