The thesis presents a theoretical generalization and a new approach to solving actual scientific tasks is to justify and experimental verification of models of effective monitoring of educational work in higher education, the components of which are: objectives, contents, methods, tools, principles, sub places, the environment created by the subjects and controls, and functions (diagnostic, information and analysis, predictive search and research, management and correction); monitoring phases of educational work in higher education (preparatory, organizational, practical, analytical and correctional) criteria (motivational, cognitive, practical, analytical and evaluative, adjusting) parameters and levels (low, medium, sufficient, high); pedagogical conditions for effective monitoring of the educational work in higher education.
