Bezushko S. Gender education of secondary school pupils in extra-curricular activity.

The thesis theoretically grounded the problem of gender education of secondary school pupils in extra-curricular activities. The state of the problem in the research sources has been analyzed; the content of such notions as "gender education", "gender breeding", "gender education of secondary school pupils in extra-curricular activities" have been specified. The nature of extra-curricular activities has been characterized, and its potential in gender education of secondary school pupils has been analyzed. It was modeled and experimentally tested the method of gender education of secondary school pupils in extra-curricular activities. The method's components are: goal, objectives, functions, organizational and pedagogical conditions, stages, content, forms, methods, tools, criteria, indicators, level of gender breeding, predictable results. Forms and methods of education aimed at the development of gender education of adolescents have been tested. Forming experiment results demonstrate the positive impact of the developed methods to increase the level of gender education of secondary school pupils. Key provisions and recommendations of the research have put into practice of general educational establishments of Ukraine.
