The thesis presents a complex study of the theoretical and methodological foundations of educational and professional population differentiation and its determinants on the ability of human development and the scientifically-practical recommendations on managing the processes of differentiation. The paper summarizes the theoretical basis of stratification research that is the basis for the processes of educational and professional population differentiation. Outlined areas transformational changes in education and professional differentiation conditions employed in building the information society and knowledge economy of modern, characterized by extreme inequality and polarization capabilities of human development in different professional groups to advanced, which offer the potential of social Lifting through intellectualization of labor, liberalization and employment tehnokratyzatsiyu and development of non-standard forms. Methodical approaches to assessment capabilities of human development major occupational groups based on a combination of statistical indicators and expert survey data. Systematize the kinds of inequality present stage of development of Ukrainian society, which are caused by educational and professional differentiation and justifies immediate action priorities and directions, improve the mechanism for empowering human development by regulating the occupational structure of employment, as part of what defines the key areas of impact on the transformation of the occupational structure employment.
