Thesis is dedicated to the problem of an increase of the effectiveness of the government control over primary school. In the research the essence of government control over primary school is found. The features of primary school as the object of government control are founded. It is substantiated the organizational and pedagogical conditions for the increase of efficiency of government control over primary school. The ways of perfection of the modern system of government control over primary school are developed, in particular theoretically substantiated the model of evaluation of its activity.
