Kuchma Z. French Song in Linguistic and Stylistic Dimensions.

The dissertation work is devoted to the complex research of stylistic features of French song text to determine its identity as a separate sub-style. French song text became the object of complex linguistic research; it was offered to distinguish it as separate sub-style within belles-lettres style. To do it a comparative approach to the notions of poetical language - colloquial language -song language was implied. On phonetic, syntactic and stylistic levels a tendency of styles interpenetration, namely belles-lettres and colloquial, in the French song is analyzed. Functional features, characteristic exceptionally to French song text, are registered in number and give the ground to single out such text into a separate sub-style. The choice of the scientific theme, its significance, the object and the subject of the research paper have been determined in the Introduction. The main purpose and the tasks, scientific novelty, theoretical and practical importance have been formulated here. Methods of analysis and main principles have been determined.
