The object: the theory of comprehensive school management in the second half of XX century and beginning of XXI century in Ukraine; the aim: to systematize and generalize scientific contribution of Ukrainian scholars to the development of domestic management methods theory by comprehensive school in the second half of XX century-the beginning of the XXI century in the context of modern theory of education management development; methods: method of discontinuous research, method of theoretical analysis and synthesis, chronological, genetic, historical-comparative, historical analysis; novelty: the integral analysis of the development of the national theory of management methods by educational establishments in the second half of the XXth century to the beginning of the XXIst century was made for the fist time in the context of modern theory of education management development what allowed to distinguish the stages of this process: the outer and inner factors which influenced on the development of the theory of management methods of educational establishments were singled out; general tendencies of the development of domestic management methods theory by comprehensive school; aim – the theory and methods of management education
