Dissertation is devoted to the problem of development of theoretical and methodological bases of educational and professional potential research as well as to the problem of scientific and practical recommendations development about educational and professional potential formation ensuring in the competitive economy conditions. Theoretical bases of educational and professional potential formation are investigated. Researche methodological bases of competitive economy are generalized. Scientific and methodical approaches to measurement of volume and quality of educational and professional potential in competitive economy are proved. The state conditions and characteristics of educational and professional capacity are analysed. Formation of Ukraine regions educational and professional capacity monitoring is carried out. The complex assessment of educational and professional potential at the microlevel is carried out. Strategic reference points of educational and professional capacity of Ukraine ensuring quality are defined. The mechanism of educational and professional potential formation in competitive economy is improved. The perspective areas of educational and professional potential ensuring competitiveness are offered.
