Essay

The dissertation research is devoted to the development of the problem of artistic and creative thinking of primary school students in educational activities. The paper analyzes the philosophical, psychological and pedagogical aspects of the problem. The essence of the concept of artistic and imaginative thinking of primary school students is discovered, its structure and methods of diagnostics of its development are clarified. The criteria and indicators are defined; the levels of the outlined quality are identified. Pedagogical conditions and methods of the development of artistic and creative thinking of primary school students in educational activities are proved and tested.
