Essay

The object of research - the process of self-education of foreign students in higher technical educational institutions. The purpose of research - to identify the impact of theoretically grounded and experimentally checked conditions for the success of pedagogical support of professional self-education of foreign students in higher technical educational institution at the level of their professional readiness. Methods of research - theoretical, empirical, statistical. Based on the scientific literature review, the research defines the essence of the concepts "professional education" and "professional self-education", analyzes the meaningful content of the structural constituents of the professional readiness of students in technical specialities that results from their professional self-education, and characterizes the organization of the professional self-education process in a higher technical educational institution. The research gives an insight into the peculiarities of foreign students' professional self-education in higher technical institutions and pedagogical support of the process. It provides theoretical substantiation and experimental verification of the conditions, under which pedagogical support of foreign students' professional self-education in higher technical educational institutions is ensured.
