The thesis analyzes philosophical, ethical, psychological, pedagogical literature on the formation of responsibility. The essence of the concepts of "responsibility", "children of older juvenile age responsibility", "sport and recreation establishments", "the formation of the older teenagers responsibility at sports and recreation establishments". The responsibility of the children of older juvenile age is presented as an integral quality that is determined by their needs, motives, values orientation and causes the ability to realize the control over their actions, to direct and correct their behavior in different life situations, ensuring optimal coordination between the accepted social norms and rules and personal needs, experiencing a period of rethinking and institutionalization. The educational potential of sports and recreational establishments as an environment of forming responsibility of older teens is revealed. It was established that sports and recreational establishments, institutions of physical culture and sports, exercising sports and recreational activities and identified them as the center of education of healthy lifestyle, the development of the health preservation skills through the involving into the physical education and sport , mass sports and recreational actions as well as through personality-forming impact studies in the group, led by teacher-trainer, oriented in their interaction with students both technical and training and on the educational aspects. The criteria (value-motivational, content, procedural, personal developing), indexes and levels: low (comprehensive description of "infantilism"); average (complex characteristics "pragmatic situational"); high (complex characteristics "systemics") formed of responsibility older teens was defined. As a result of the statement stage of the experiment it was revealed that the studied contingent of older teens is characterized by such distribution on level of formation of responsibility as high level with 15,1 % of respondents, average - 52,1 %, the lowest - 32,8 % (experimental group). In the control group the indices did not differ significantly - respectively, 15,8 %, 53,1 %, 31,1 %). The formation of the responsibility of older teenagers at sports and health institutions we understand as aimed process of education the ability to objective evaluation of the situation, the ability to see it true nature, which allows to make a choice that takes into account not only accepted in society ethical, moral and other norms, but reflects its life position through increased public authority of teenagers, the formation of their positive image as a man of a word, trusted friend, who can rely on emotional support in any situation. Pedagogical conditions of the formation older teenagers responsibility at sports and recreation establishments, exactly: activization of educational environment conducive to the expression of responsible relationships of older teens; development and implementation of individually oriented teaching model of interaction with older teens coach; providing personal self-expression in a responsible older teen recreational activities are theoretically and experimentally tested.
