The thesis deals with a theoretical and experimental research into the problem of gender education of junior schoolchildren in an orphanage. The thesis defines the content and structural components of gender manners (emotional value, cognitive-operational, individual and behavioral) of junior schoolchildren in an orphanage. The thesis provides theoretical grounds for pedagogical conditions of gender education of junior schoolchildren in an orphanage and verifies them experimentally (the creation of gender educational environment in an orphanage oriented to gender self-knowledge of junior schoolchildren; the organization of junior schoolchildren's activities aimed at fulfillment of gender roles by junior schoolchildren from the point of view of moral and spiritual individual's formation). The thesis specifies criteria, indicators and levels of gender manners of junior schoolchildren in an orphanage.
