Object: the management of a future IT teachers’ professional training; aim: to give scientific credence and experimentally verify the structural and functional model of managing the forming future IT teachers professional competence in the process of professional training; methods: classification, systematization, generalization; modeling; questioning, observation, interviewing, the method of expert estimations, the method of data collection; methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: for the first time a structural and functional model of the management system for the formation of future IT teachers’ professional competence in, consisting of target, organizational-process, evaluation-diagnostic and analytical-productive components, was first developed and experimentally tested; the basic concept of research "management of formation of future IT teachers professional competence" is determined; criteria (level of professional competence of future IT teachers, professional-management, organizational and management), indicators and levels (high, average, low) management of the formation of future IT teachers’ professional competence in the process of professional training; management functions of forming of future IT teachers’ professional competence in the process of professional training (information and analytical, motivational; organizational and executive, control and diagnostic) are specified; the notion of "future IT teachers’ professional competence", "formation of future IT teachers’ professional competence; results: methodological recommendations "Theoretical basics in the management of the forming future IT teachers professional competence in the process of professional training" and "Diagnostics of the level of management of the forming future IT teachers professional competence in the process of professional training" were developed, the developed diagnostic data for measuring the levels of efficiency management in the process of formation future IT teachers professional competence in the process of professional training, course for teaching staff "Special features of the management of the forming future IT teachers professional competence in the process of professional training"; branch - the theory and a technique of management of education.
