Object: the process upbringing of health-saving behavior at primary school children’; aim: to give scientific credence and experimentally verify the effectiveness technology of upbringing of health-saving behavior at primary school children’ by means of Ukrainian folk traditions; methods: theoretical; empirical (questioning, pedagogical observation, conversation, dialogue, methods of peer review, self-assessment, study of the activity at primary school children’, testing, pedagogical experiment) with the purpose of testing the effectiveness of technology upbringing of health-saving behavior at primary school children’ by means Ukrainian folk traditions; interpretative (comparison, ranking, generalization of theoretical studies, practical experience) for the development of innovative methods; methods of mathematical statistics (quantitative and qualitative analysis of experimental data); novelty: technology of upbringing of health-saving behavior at primary school children’ by means of Ukrainian folk traditions is theoretically substantiated, developed and experimentally tested and contains the following stages: preparatory; informative; practical and analytical; criteria and indicators of upbringing of health-saving behavior at primary school children’ by means of Ukrainian folk traditions and the key concept of the study «health-saving behavior» are defined and indicated; results: technology of upbringing of health-saving behavior at primary school children’ by means of Ukrainian folk traditions, methodical recommendations for teachers, practitioners, educators and students of higher pedagogical educational institutions «There is culture of health modern human’ and the role of Ukrainian folk traditions in its formation’» have been developed and implemented in the practice of educational institutions;industry – theory and methods of upbringing.
