Object: management of development of health-improving physical activity of future teachers of physical education; purpose: to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the structural and functional model of the system of monitoring the development of health-improving physical activity of future teachers of physical education; methods: system and comparative analysis, modeling, pedagogical experiment, survey, questioning, pedagogical observation, method of generalization of independent characteristics, methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: first developed a structural and functional model of the system of monitoring the development of health-improving physical activity of future teachers of physical education, which consists of four interrelated blocks, based on an integrated approach, defined criteria, indicators and levels of efficiency of monitoring the development of health-improving the physical activity of future teachers of physical education; results: a structural and functional model of the system of monitoring the development of health-improving physical activity of future teachers of physical education, methodological recommendations of the workshop, seminars, training, created and implemented management information and analytical laboratory and developed educational and methodological support of the discipline " Monitoring the development of health-improving physical activity»; further development of the acquired methods that were used to monitor the development of HIPA FPTT (collection, processing and analysis of information; presentation and accumulation of monitoring results; the use of their results); modules for the effective development of this activity and diagnostic tools (questionnaires, tests, questionnaire,); direction – the theory and methodology of education management
