Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the experimental study of anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, venoprotective, anticoagulant, anti-thrombotic and antioxidant properties of the extract of common hazel leaves. In the screening studies of the extract from hazel leaves, оn anticoagulant, membrane-stabilizing and anti-inflammatory action has been selected a therapeutic dose of 60 mg/kg. The anti-inflammatory property of the extract from hazel leaves on the model of zimosan inflammation was established - 48,04%. On models of a violation of the vascular-tissue permeability of rat skin and venous congestion on the tail of the rats, the expressed anti-exudative, anti-inflammatory and vasoprotective action, which is not inferior to the activity of the drug comparison "Escuvit", was established. On the model of acute thrombophlebitis in rabbits, it has been proved that the extract of hazel leaves in the therapeutic and prophylactic mode exhibits effective anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and vasoprotective effects, which expressiveness exceeds of "Escuvit". It has been established that the investigated extract affects the internal and external path of the formation of prothrombinase and the third stage of coagulation hemostasis - fibrin formation; displays a normalizing effect on the balance of the system "oxidant-antioxidant". Investigated extract belongs to a class of low-toxicity substances, does not show ulcerogenic action.
