The author has specified a three componentional structure of a value attitude to creating a family which includes an emotional and value component, a cognitive one, and a behavioral and activity one.
The author has clarified the definition of «the formation of a value attitude to creating a family in students of agrarian colleges», which is the result of a all-round organized impact of an educative environment of an agrarian college which is characterised by a conscious motive to create a family, profound knowledge of its functions in the society, by obtained skills of self-improvement as a future family member, by the orientation to preserve family traditions of Ukrainian people; the readiness to become a responsible mother and father.
We have specified the peculiarities of the formation of a value attitude to creating a family in students of agrarian colleges which refer to the specifics of students who study at establishments of professional (professional and technical) education: the dominance of rural youth who are characterized by an early involvement into the efficient production activity; the orientation to preserving family traditions, values of their motherland. The author confirmed that the efficiency of the formation of a value attitude to creating a family in students of agrarian colleges is also determined by the sensitivity of early adolescence. At this age young people form their outlook, self-reflexion, the focus into the future, the search of the meaning of life, acceptance themselves as representatives of some sex, an active search of a spouse, love. Among negative factors which make the process of the formation of a value attitude to creating a family in students complicated we should mention sick selfishness, impulsive behavior, excessive sensitivity, youth maximalism.
We have figure out factors which complicate the process of the formation of a value attitude to creating a family in students of agrarian colleges as following: teacher’s careless attitude to after class activities, turning it into fragmentic events of entertainment; information literacy which is accepted by students as lecturing; an insufficient use of possibilities of after class activities when it comes to the problem of the formation of a value attitude to creacting a family; the lack of methodical recommendations about the formation of a value attitude to creating a family in students of agrarian colleges.
We have described criteria and indications of the structure of the notion «a value attitude to creating a family». They are an emotional and value component (a conscious motivation to create a family and admittance of the necessity of fulfilling marital and parental duties; the ability of empathy; the urge to establish marital relationships and develop them on the basis of moral values such as love, friendship, love, faith, mutual help, mutual respect; a cognitive one (to obtain the knowledge about the meaning and the functions of family; motives of its creation; the awareness of family and marriage values for a specific personality and for a society on the whole); a behavioral and activity one (the ability to adequately choose the style of one’s behavior in different life situations; the ability to communicate with representatives of the opposite sex; the readiness and the ability to self-improvement as a future family member). We have described levels of the formation of a value attitude to creating a family in students of agrarian colleges. They are high, medium, and low.
We have justified and experimentally confirmed the efficiency of pedagogical conditions of the formation of a value attitude to creating a family in students of agrarian colleges in after class activity. They are the development and the inmplementation in after class activity an author’s program for academic group mentor communication hours «I am a future family member», the use of a pedagogical potential of traditions of Ukrainian people about the formation of a value attitude to creating a family in students of agrarian colleges; methodic training od academic group mentors about the formation of a value attitude to creating a family.
While realizing the third pedagogical condition we trained academic group mentors so that they have well-developed skills to form a value attitude to creating a family in students and trained them at the seminar «The formation of a value attitude to creating a family in students of agrarian colleges» (lectures, a round discussion, practical classes).
The comparison of before and after tests of an experiment confirmed the efficiency of theoretically justified pedagogical conditions and the necessity of their creative use in after class activity of agrarian colleges in order to form a value attitude to creating a family in students.
