Object of the study: processes of managing productivity and quality of life of the population; the purpose of the research: improvement of conceptual and scientific-methodical foundations of labour productivity management and development of practical recommendations on improving the quality of life on this basis; research methods and equipment: dialectic and abstract-logical method of cognition, monographic method, method of analytic groupings, graphical method, index analysis, method of constructing cognitive models and method of scenario modeling, methods of sociological research; theoretical and practical results: the strategic priorities of labour productivity management are grounded on the basis of cognitive modeling and analysis of complex systems of mutual influence of indicators of productivity and quality of life; the specific features of the proposed approach are the consistent formalization of the processes of managing labour productivity and quality of life on the basis of structuring the content and parameters of the mutual conditioning of the processes, constructing a cognitive map, determining the strength of the mutual influence of factors, developing a plan of pulsed modeling as the basis for choosing the desired scenario of development; scientific and methodological foundations of the study of internal relations of the system "labour productivity - quality of life" in the context of building a two-level mechanism for managing labour productivity in the system of ensuring the quality of life of the population, the use of which provides implementation of cognitive modeling and scenario analysis; conceptual and methodological principles of measuring the quality of life of the population, which combine, firstly, the formation of a system of indicators of quality of life (quality of human capital, health of members of society, quality of education, labor, technologies), secondly, comparison of indicators of self-identification, normative values and expert assessments of the quality of life, and thirdly, the systematization of the parameters of the influence of a plurality of factors on the quality of life of the population (demographic, environmental, educational, economic, labour market performance, health); the content of the main categories of the study: "labour productivity" is defined as a characteristic of the existing prerequisites for the development of economic potential in order to improve the welfare of the population, emphasizing the social significance of the interdependence of the processes of productivity growth and quality of life; "quality of life" is defined as an integral indicator that characterizes the extent of investing the economic opportunities of society in improving the characteristics of the living conditions that are meaningful to the population; theoretical provisions that reveal the nonlinear nature of the impact of the growth of labour productivity on the quality of life: the signs of atypical influence are demonstrated, which is characterized by the fact that actual productivity growth is a manifestation of adaptation of the economy to the collapse of economic activity, as there is no confirmation of the impact of the growth of social productivity on the quality of life for a set of criteria, that is, the growth of social productivity of labour is limitedly shaped by economic conditions for the growth of the quality of life of the population;organizational and institutional principles of quality management are presented in the form of a mechanism based on the definition of components of the quality of life system of the population, subjects, objects and methods of quality management, alternative / combinatorial application of which is determined by the results of scenario modeling and comparison of normative and sub Indicators; degree of implementation: developments implemented in the practical activities of Department of Social Protection of the Population of Melitopol City Council of Zaporozhye region, LLC "Melitopol avtohidroahrehat", LLC "NАDIA-GRANDEX", in the educational process of the Tauride State Agrotechnological University; scope: improvement of the process of managing labour productivity in the system of ensuring the quality of life of the population of Ukraine.
