Karmanenko V. Pedagogical circumstances of formation the leadership qualities for students of economic universities

The dissertation is devoted to the actual topic of leadership skills formation among students of economic universities. In the dissertation the categorical field of research «leader», «leadership», «leadership personality qualities», «leadership qualities of students» is specified. The criteria and indicators of the formation of leadership qualities of students of economic universities are revealed and substantiated: personal (erudition, activity, determination, self-confidence); professional-managerial (perseverance, initiative, diligence, independence, organization, creative approach); team-leader (sociability, ability to persuade, emotional attractiveness, observation, self-control, ability to adjust the positive atmosphere in the team). Characterized levels of formation of the investigated quality (sufficient, average, low). It has been found that most students have average and low indicators of leadership skills. The desire of teachers and curators to build their relationships with students is based on the principles of personally oriented interaction and the positive influence of the co-operation of curators (teachers) and students on the process of forming the leadership qualities of future specialists of the economy has been established.
