The dissertation is devoted to questions of the effectiveness of the organizational and economic mechanism of functioning and development of the internal labor market on the example of enterprises of the pharmaceutical industry of Ukraine. As a result of the critical elaboration of the special literature, the author’s interpretation of the concept of “internal labor market”, which emphasizes the processes of interaction of demand and supply of labor within a certain organization was proposed. The concept of cyclical dynamics of the internal labor market is determined. The theoretical and methodical principles of organizational and economic mechanism of its functioning and development are offered. The dissertation presents a methodical approach to the evaluation of the functioning and development of the internal labor market on the basis of the triad of indices. The analysis of the effectiveness of the organizational and economic mechanism of functioning and development of the internal labor market of the investigated enterprises of pharmaceutical industry is made. The place of the companies on the three-dimensional matrix of its indicators and theirs level of efficiency is determined. A system of methods for influencing on the formation of the external environment of sustainable development of the internal labor market is presented. On the basis of the study of the internal environment of the internal labor market, an economic-mathematical model of the dependence of the average number of staff members as a main indicator of the boundaries of the internal labor market is developed and the forecast for the indicator for the coming years is made. The key perspectives for improving functioning and development of the market are substantiated. The dissertation presents the deepened conceptual principles of increasing the efficiency of the organizational and economic mechanism of functioning and development of the internal labor market.
