Essay

The possibility of creation of new nootropics and combinatios on the basis of hypothesis this about their modulating influence on glutamatergic synapses was investigated. Glicine in the postelectroshock amnesia model on rats displays antiamnestic activity, wich is equal to the pyracetam activity, and the antiamnestic activity 3,4-tetramethylen-beta-carbolines is over the pyracetam activity in 100-1000 times. In the common usage of known nootropics (pyracetam and etimisilum) or glycine and carbacetam under definite corrilation of doses of combinated substances a potention of an amnestic effect is seen, which is the proof in situ non-coincidence of the primary targets of action of combinated substances. The antioxidant action, typical for all the investigated substances isn't potentiated and is different from the antiamnestic action, wiche allows to make a conclusion, that these effects of the nootropics are not connected by reason. All investigated substances have antioxidant properties. Antiamnestic ef fect is potentiated under their common usage, at the same time antioxidant effect is not, proves the absence of reasonable ties between the stated effects
