Essay

The thesis explores historical originality of aesthetical in dynamics of Ukrainian culture of the 17th and 18th centuries. Having examined methodological problems of historical and aesthetical analysis and formulated her research principles, the author focused on the reconstruction of historically specific models of existence, such as social, cultural, existential structures, as determinative for the analysis of sensual practices of the period and formation of the concept of the aesthetical. And from structural and semiotical analysis of texts by Ivan Vyshensky, Pheophan Prokopovych, Hryhory Skovoroda typical models of existence for Ukrainian baroque culture were drawn and the dynamics of the inherent forms of sensual practices were disclosed. The ratio of rhetorical and aesthetical in literature and fine arts was explored in detail, and the concept of aesthetical in 'Eneida' by Ivan Kotliarevsky was disclosed. Dynamics of artistic activity were reconstructed by means of explication of author-reader, real-imaginary, imitation-creation oppositions. Also, the ratio between spiritual delight in the ideal of piety and the specifics of aesthetical conditions was explored. Furthermore, aesthetical concept formation trend in the culture of the 17th and 18th centuries was discovered, and paradoxicalness of this historical process was revealed.
