Kravchenko A. Scientific bases of management of road trains service ability

Object of research: processes of influence of the technical condition of automobiles - tractors and trailers on trains' efficiency convoys. The purpose of research: increase of efficiency of operation of automobile trains at the expense of management of their work capacity at stages of life cycle. Methods of research: use of the system approach, analysis of problems from the technical, mathematical and information points of view, use of the laws of formalization and quantitative description of physical processes on the basis of the structural - logic approach, analysis, imitating and natural modeling. Theoretical and practical results: the basic malfunctions which influence upon stability of movement of lorry convoys have been revealed, systematized and generalized; the strategy and tactics of realization of preventive works of lorry convoys of a technical condition have been developed; the models have been developed and the methods of maintenance of trains' capacity have been created on their basis; the scientific - practical results are basis of effective management of operation of the rolling-stock, reduction of idle times of vehicles, decrease of deterioration of trunks and expenditure of fuel. Scientific novelty: the influence of methods of the control and diagnostics on management of trains' capacity of lorry convoys has been determined; the basic malfunctions and failures of lorry convoys have been formalized; laws of deterioration of a technical condition of lorry convoys in the guarantee period of operation have been established; the influence of errors in designing, technology of manufacturing, defects and malfunctions of the rolling-stock on dynamic behavior of lorry convoys have been revealed. The extent of introduction: the new methods, working programs and technologies of control-diagnostic works concerning management of trains' capacity of lorry convoys have been developed and introduced.
