Essay

Imperatives, principles, mechanisms and instruments of the regulatory system have been methodologically grounded on the basis of the study of the genesis of macroeconomic models of labor market regulation. They have to ensure the restraining of spontaneous market forces with simultaneously preserved mechanisms of its internal self-regulation that will allow them to direct their action to achieve full and productive employment in Ukraine. A new area of research has been justified, the main point of which is to develop conceptual approaches to the marketing of workforce. Based on the analyses and forecast of the labour market conditions, this will contribute to the productive employment through providing career counseling and educational services to residents, informing employers on qualifications and skills of workers. On the basis of a multifactor three-level approach, the methodology and tools of forecasting the demand for workforce in professional context have been designed. This makes it possible to minimize occupational imbalance in the labor market and determine the quantitative and qualitative specifications for training the workforce.
