Essay

The given dissertation deals with creation and justification of scientific basis of a new progressive trend in development of modern repair methods and recovery of car body panels, based on using of pulsed-magnetic fields energy. In this dissertation there was for the first time proposed theoretical and experimental justification of a new conception of car body panels recovery by progressive magnetic-pulse methods of external non-contact straightening, which provide an integrated complex approach to the repair of damaged vehicles metal covering surfaces. The new trend of research of magnetic-pulse working of thin-walled metals has been formulated and received further development, which allows to create not only new equipment, but principally new technological processes of external non-contact repair and recovery of vehicle body panels. Scientific basis of electrodynamic and magnetic attraction of thin-walled sheet metals with using the energy of high-power pulsed fields was created for the first time and proved theoretically and experimentally. Scientific and technical solutions in design of effective tools based on single-turn inductor systems of cylindrical geometry for straightening and recovery of car body panels was formulated and proved theoretically, and experimentally. Theoretical and experimental researches of electromagnetic processes in matching devices, which are intermediate between the power source and the instrument has been carried out, and their use significantly increases the efficiency of the external non-contact magnetic-pulse straightening. Theoretical and experimental researches of electromagnetic processes in magnetic-pulse installation - the power source, which is a generator of high-current pulses, providing the effectiveness of the entire complex of external non-contact straightening of car body panels has been carried out. Experimental approbation of controllability of external non-contact magnetic-pulse car body panels repair and recovery processes were conducted. The execution algorithm foundations of non-contact magnetic-pulse straightening of car body panels were discovered. Innovative business plans for using of magnetic-pulse technologies for car body panels repair were prepared and marked with finalist and winners diplomas of regional and international competitions.
