Essay

In the thesis the theoretical and methodical principles of teaching a value-centered attitude to a person to secondary school pupils are scientifically proved; the scientific-methodical system and the research concept are developed on methodological, theoretical and practical levels; the historiography of the basic principles of the humanistic education development in terms of sociocultural, ideological and pedagogical aspects is outlined; the evolution of human knowledge based on the problem-genetic analysis of humanistic ideas in the history of national and foreign scientific research is investigated; the level of the psychological and pedagogical scientific studies, educational practice development and subsequently the peculiarities of teaching children and youth a value-centered attitude to a erson and its role as the main factor of the education humanization process is investigated, the main principles of the humanistic transformations methodology in education is clarified. On the basis of systemic, synergistic, model-variable, axiological, culturological, thnopedagogical, anthropological, personal, activity-based, multi-subject, differentiated approaches, a conceptual scientific-methodical structural and functional model and the technology of gradual development of senior age secondary school pupils’ and adolescences’ value- centered attitude to a person in the human-oriented educational system were developed. Its structural components are: the educational process (the use of human potential in the curricular, extra-curricular and out-of-school activities with pupils aimed at forming humanistic consciousness, humanistic feelings, humanistic behavior based on the most important values.
