Essay

In the dissertation the theoretical generalization and scientific solution of the problem of formation of social maturity of students of institutions of higher education of agrarian profile was first implemented. On the basis of the analysis of scientific sources on philosophy, psychology, sociology and pedagogy, the theoretical and methodological principles of formation of social maturity of students of institutions of higher education of agrarian profile are substantiated.The essence of the concept of «social maturity of students of institutions of higher education of agrarian profile» is specified; the content structure of the cognitive, emotional-value, motivational, reflexive-volitional, behavioral-activity components is distinguished. The criteria and indicators, levels of formation of social maturity of students of institutions of higher education of agrarian profile are determined and substantiated. Educational potential of the educational process of institutions of higher education of agrarian profile is characterized. The structural and functional model and organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of social maturity of students of institutions of higher education of agrarian profile have been developed, theoretically substantiated and experimentally verified. The organizational and methodological support for the formation of social maturity of students of the designated institutions was developed and tested.
