Dissertation for the scientific degree of Dr. h. of Education in specialty 13.00.06 – theory and methodology of educational management; 011 educational, pedagogical sciences. – State Higher Educational Institution “University of Educational Management” National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2018. The dissertation is a tribute to the substantiation, development and expert evaluation of the system of management of the educational process on the basis of case-management in higher educational institutions in order to ensure the quality of providing educational services in conditions of high social risks, processes of reform, the challenges of globalization and the formation of an information society. As a result of the theoretical analysis of the state of development of the problem, the main content lines of the research are identified and the following groups of concepts are formed, such as: 1) scientific approaches to the research of the field of interdisciplinary knowledge, which is the institution of higher education; 2) definitions of management of educational process in institutions of higher education; 3) the theory and practice of providing support to educational services users. By means of generalization of scientific approaches to the research problem, the content of its basic concepts has been formed, namely: «case-management technology in the system of higher education»; «educational process in institutions of higher education»; «management of educational process based on case-management in higher educational institutions»; «management of quality of educational services in higher educational institutions». On the basis of multy-paradigmal and environmental approaches, the expediency of using case-management as a technology of multilevel support for an applicant of a higher education, presented through the created «Conceptual model of the system of management of educational process based on case-management in higher educational institutions», as supporting the target direction of the management of educational process at the higher educational institution, is substantiated. The factors that preferred to choose the use of case-management technology in managing the educational process in the higher educational institution were: its ability to keep focus on the combination of institutional and individual forms of support for higher educational applicants, adherence to the principle of the environmental approach, its focus on creating of a security situation for a higher educational applicant, which increases the resources at the level of the individual and the system and it is important for asserting the standpoint of independence and reducing consumer trends that characterize the traditional paternalistic system of the support. The effectiveness of the simulated «system of management of educational process based on case management in higher education institutions» was theoretically proved by means of factor analysis, expert evaluation and practically predictable on the basis of SWOT-analysis. The condition for the effective implementation of the proposed model is the introduction of the organizational structure of the institution of the highest cross-cutting area of work with students, the introduction of cloud technologies for managing the educational process on the basis of case-management and training of scientific and pedagogical employees to realize the objectives of the innovation process. The conducted research allows to assert that the implementation of the management of educational process on the basis of case management in higher educational institutions is a projected direction for the progressive strengthening of the potential of the applicant of higher education and institution through the usage of self-organizational resources and the environment that meets the challenges of globalization and the development of the information society. The conceptual “model of management of the educational process based on case-management in higher educational institutions” has been developed and tested. This model needs to be implemented into the practice of activity of higher educational institutions, thus creating a perspective field for constructive scientific discussion.
