The object of the study is to solve the applied scientific problem of increasing the efficiency of means of transport operation through safe introduction of indicators of the quality of operational field work and the quality of transport services provision in the implementation of technological processes. In the thesis, a generalized classification of existing coordination between transport modes has been developed based on the coverage of the stages of cargo delivery and the terminological base was supplemented; the structure of concepts and connections of scenarios, and events with control objects in technological processes of cargo delivery by rail using a frame model has been described; a fuzzy model for predicting operational deviations from the established control-time points has been built, modelling based on time data has been applied and a unified assessment of operational deviation values at various stations has been carried out in accordance with a streamlined well-categorized scale, based on order statistics; a structure has been developed and a method has been described for constructing elements of a fuzzy regulator of a control system when introducing a system of new indicators or justifying existing ones; simulation modelling of technological processes has been carried out; a method has been developed for determining the indicator – wagon turnover, with the help of which the quality of work of the railway management units is assessed, taking into account the current operational situation. Key words: railway technological processes, wagon efficiency, fuzzy regulator, forecast model, information automated systems, operational management, control-time points, wagon turnover, freight transportation, freight delivery schedules, information monitoring, simulation modelling
