Essay

Ukraine's integration into the European and global educational space plays an important role in the country's development and ensuring its competitiveness in the international arena. Awareness of the prospects for the development of education leads to a demand for reforming Ukraine's school education system in the current conditions, taking into account European experience. In view of the above, it will be significant to study the experience of reforming school education in the Republic of Finland and to conduct research on current trends in reform in this country. This is because over the past six decades, the Republic of Finland has been consistent with quality education, high results in international studies such as PISA, PIRLS, TIMSS [240], competitive students, accessibility, and continuity of lifelong learning. The implementation of an effective concept of reforming the education sector of the Republic of Finland coincides in the current discourse with the reform of the educational system of Ukraine. Its research is of scientific, pedagogical and general social importance for the prospects of modernizing educational policy in Ukraine.
